Testing and Voucher Information
So now it's time to actually step up and take a test. What do you do?
The testing process can be very stressful for some (ok, most) people, so Netdesk is a VUE Testing Center and a Prometric Testing Center, allowing you to take the tests in the same comfortable environment you took your classes in. We limit our test offering to Microsoft, Cisco, and CompTIA exams to cut down on the number of people taking tests here so you can more easily find a convenient time to take your test. We have three test stations in a room with a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier (again, we're only thinking about lowering your stress!).
So testing time is drawing near, here's how the basic process works:
- E-mail Netdesk at vouchers@netdesk.com to get your test voucher number (test vouchers are generally included with our MCSE and MCSD packages - you can tell how many vouchers are included in your package by checking your registration form).
- When you get the voucher number, call Prometric for Microsoft exams and call VUE for Cisco and CompTIA exams and schedule your test.

VUE website (first time users must register at their site - takes about 24 hours to receive a password).
- Keep studying until test day arrives.
- Get a good nights sleep.
- Allow plenty of time to get here for your test - you don't need to worry about being late on top of everything else.
- Be sure to bring two pieces of ID. Sign in with our test administrator. Leave your phone, pager, laptop, books, briefcase and anything else in our locker.
- Take scratch paper and pencil (we provide) into the testing booth.
- Take your test and PASS!
- Celebrate! Do something special - like take the weekend off from studying before starting again for your next test.
