Momentum and Netdesk Merge,
creating one of the largest training companies in the US

Baton Rouge and Seattle, October 1, 2007 / Momentum, the leading Microsoft Gold Certified partner in the South Central region, today announced their intention to merge with Netdesk, the Northwest's #1 leader in Microsoft technical training. The new company, called Netdesk in the Northwest and Momentum-Netdesk in Texas and Louisiana, is now one of the top ten largest training centers in the United States with five training locations: Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Baton Rouge and New Orleans, LA; and San Antonio, TX.

This merger brings expanded capabilities to both companies allowing the new Netdesk to bring skills to all levels of customer's organization with a Microsoft focused technical training schedule for the IT staff, desktop and application training for the information worker, and business and leadership skills for management and staff through the organization. With this complete line of training, Netdesk can help companies unlock the full value of their investment in both their people and technology.

”This is an exciting time for us," said Dina Finta, CEO of the new Netdesk. "This merger brings together two strong companies with shared values and allows us to expand our capabilities in both regions to better serve our customers. Our customers will gain access to our greater resources and can fulfill all of their organization's training needs with one partner."

“Momentum’s deep experience at strategic engagement with top management to design and deliver large-scale training plans fits perfectly with Netdesk’s experience managing complex open enrollment schedules.” said Todd Shelton, COO of the new Netdesk. “Customers in the Pacific Northwest and the South Central regions will benefit greatly from our exciting new capabilities.”

Momentum is the leading Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in the South Central Region and has been helping customers utilize their technology capabilities for over 20 years. Momentum brings strength in desktop and application training and business and leadership skills training.

Netdesk is the Northwest's #1 leader in Microsoft technology training and has been in business for over 15 years. Netdesk strengths are their focus on Microsoft technologies and a strong open enrollment training schedule including such innovations as a 30 Day Schedule Lock – the first program of its kind in the industry.

Dina Finta, currently owner and Chief Executive Officer of Momentum, will become Chief Executive Officer of the combined company. Todd Shelton, currently owner and Chief Executive Officer of Netdesk, will become Chief Operating Officer of the combined company.

The companies’ merger will go into effect Monday, October 1, 2007. In the Pacific Northwest Netdesk will continue operate under the same name and in Louisiana and Texas the company will operate under Momentum-Netdesk.
